Women hold the world together

Some of the most difficult struggles of our time are being led by women in spaces usually considerred as male domains. Whether clearing mines by hand in Karabakh (“Steps in silence”), defending Montenegro’s pastoral highlands from a NATO-backed military training ground, (“To hold a mountain”) or confronting tech giants in the name of her country (“Techplomacy”), the women in these films take on battles that shape the future of entire communities.
