About the film
What do you do when you are asked to stay silent? In 2020, Hungary's leading independent newsroom buckles under political pressure. Filmed under extreme tension, the documentary places you at the very heart of the Index newsroom. We witness secret meetings, share the journalists' ethical dilemmas, and watch their mass resignation. Following this act of resistance, the film tracks their attempt to build a new independent news platform, with the cost of existential insecurity.
