Asia and Marek live with their three children in a house in the middle of the Białowieża Forest on the eastern border of Poland. They strive to lead a peaceful life and raise their children in nature, but at night, unease sets in. From the darkness of the forest come voices and noises, echoing hidden tragedies. With a strong emotional charge but discreetly filtered through the routine of family life, the film intelligently and sensitively addresses one of the most severe humanitarian crises in Europe.
