The painter, Lucian Prună, has his studio somewhere in the countryside, in an old house full of packaging and other “junk” that he paints. For some time now, he has specialized and created his own unmistakable style – a unique static nature that actually captures everyday life, consumer habits and the culinary preferences of Romanians, from „mititei” and cabbage rolls „sarmale” to supermarket products. His works are successful and sell fast, but the stakes of the movie is different – to capture a philosophy of life from a sketch portrait of a contemporary painter and to demonstrate that art can be alterated.
