In a single night, a compromising image of her goes viral. From that moment on, her classmates watch and remain silent, an Instagram group passes judgment, adults try to help, and Amalia has to deal with a situation that no one can truly control anymore.</p> <p data-start="615" data-end="906">But <em data-start="619" data-end="630">Awakening</em> is not an ordinary theatre performance. Actors and teenagers perform among the audience, they are filmed on their phones, and the footage appears in real time on the screen on stage. Theatre, film, and the online world blend together, just as they do in young people’s lives.</p> <p data-start="908" data-end="1365">The cast brings together teenagers aged 14–18 and actors from the Regina Maria Theatre in Oradea, while well-known content creators (Silviu Faiăr, Alex Zlăvog, Really Rux, and Sabina Teodora) also appear on screen. The script is based on real stories gathered from the teenagers involved in the project and addresses, without preaching or offering ready-made answers, issues such as peer pressure, responsibility, family, school, and the online environment.</p> <p data-start="1367" data-end="1645" data-is-last-node="" data-is-only-node="">The performance does not end with the applause. At the end, teenagers, teachers, parents, and the creative team are invited to take part in an open discussion.
