About the film
An investigative documentary about the Sorina case – a Roma girl legally adopted by a Romanian-American family, who unwillingly became the symbol of a crisis fueled by fake news and media manipulation. Through archival footage, TV show excerpts, interviews with the adoptive parents, and legal analyses, the film follows the chronological distortion of truth, public pressure, and institutional blockages that violated the girl’s fundamental rights. A deep analysis of the dangers of disinformation in a post-truth society.
