About the film
Now 38, A Wen moves between business, family duties and the gang loyalties of his youth. His sister watches from close by, without turning him into either hero or criminal cliché. Long takes, slow pans and crowded group scenes are interrupted by the colder gaze of security cameras. Between Spain and China, the word “brother” shifts its meaning as A Wen searches for a moral direction.
