About the film
<strong data-start="125" data-end="157">“Anatomy of Ordinary Crimes”</strong> reveals the devastating impact of online harassment on victims, their families, and society. Through the stories of four women from Romania and Belgium, the film follows their struggle for justice in a world unwilling to recognize that exposing someone’s intimacy online is a form of sexual violence. Their trauma mirrors that of a society where online sexual abuse is widely monetized, while a lack of empathy fuels future aggressors. Beyond individual suffering, the documentary highlights the courage of these women who choose to break the silence—a stark counterpoint to the indifference of a society that turns away from the invisible wounds of online harassment. These are wounds unacknowledged by family, friends, or authorities, yet they leave profound marks on the lives of those affected by this scourge.
